Jameson’s creative brief was as about as specialist as it gets. They wanted to create a multiple shot holder for partner promotion activity but it had to reflect some of the brand’s core USP’s. In particular, Jameson wanted the shot holder to be crafted from oak staves – reminiscent of the aged oak barrels inherent in the production of their infamous whisky. Oak barrels in the volume they required are as rare as hen’s teeth so Giftpoint had to get super-creative and showcase our strong procurement credentials.
We sourced a supplier who used traditional steaming methods to bend new oak planks -so they looked similar to genuine barrels and then applied an aged finish to create a solution that worked in a volume and price point appropriate for the project brief.
